July 13: Donald Trump is suing a former
campaign aide for $10 million, alleging that the ex-staffer breached a
confidentiality agreement.
The lawsuit injects more drama to the Trump campaign as rumors swirl about the
Republican presumptive nominee's vice presidential pick.
Sam Nunberg, who was fired late last summer from the campaign after racially
charged Facebook posts of his surfaced, is the former aide being sued. Nunberg's
lawyer, Andrew Miltenberg, told CNN Wednesday that Nunberg is being accused of
"violating certain confidentiality provisions by talking about Donald Trump
after he was no longer associated with the campaign."

March 5: Former Trump Aide Sam Nunberg’s
Mueller Meltdown Leaves Friends Petrified ... Those close to Nunberg said they
fear he was drunk while going on a cable news blitz.
Sam Nunberg, an early political adviser to Donald Trump, had a very public
meltdown on Monday afternoon, repeatedly daring special counsel Robert Mueller
to greenlight his arrest and insinuating that his old boss, the president, did
indeed do “something” wrong during the campaign.
“You know [Trump] knew about it,”
Nunberg said at one point ... of the infamous Trump Tower meeting between
campaign officials and a Russian lawyer. “He was talking about it a week
before...I don't know why he went around trying to hide it."
Rarely, if ever, has a political operative acted so brazenly when facing the
very real prospect of being tossed in jail.

March 5: After a day spent belligerently
defying special counsel Robert Mueller, former Donald Trump campaign aide Sam
Nunberg appeared to reverse himself Monday night and said he likely will
cooperate with a subpoena seeking campaign documents related to the Russia
investigation.
Nunberg
helped Trump prepare for the first Republican presidential primary debate in
August 2015 along with the man he has described as his mentor, veteran
Republican operative Roger Stone. He made a bravado tour of television talk
shows Monday declaring he wouldn't cooperate with the subpoena.

March 5: the reason he is no longer a Trump

March 9: Former Trump campaign aide Sam
Nunberg showed up Friday to testify before a grand jury hearing evidence of
Russian meddling in the 2016 election, reversing his earlier vow to ignore a
subpoena.
He even walked in the front door, where he was greeted by photographers.
Nunberg had begun the week in a similar media swarm when he made the round of
cable TV shows to say
he would not cooperate with special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.
At the time, he also mused about the possibility that Mueller may have built a
case against the president.
"I think he (Trump) may have done something during the election," Nunberg said
on MSNBC. He later told CNN that former campaign aide Carter Page may have
colluded with the Russians.

March 23: Sam Nunberg was a name known only
to a small coterie of political journalists until March 5, when it suddenly
became inescapable. In a media barrage that will forever be known as The Full
Nunberg, the former Donald Trump campaign aide streaked across the media
landscape like a falling satellite. First he told The Washington Post
that he had been subpoenaed by special counsel Robert Mueller but wouldn’t show
up. He then phoned in live to MSNBC’s Katy Tur, telling her that he thought it
would be funny if Mueller arrested him for contempt of court and that “Trump may
very well have” colluded with Russia during the election. Then he called CNN to
assert that Trump didn’t have anything to do with Russia, then CNN again and
said that maybe Trump did, actually. He told POLITICO that Trump couldn’t have
colluded because he “can’t
keep his fucking mouth shut.” It didn’t end there. He repeated variations of
his claims on the local news station NY1, then on MSNBC again, where a fellow
panelist seemingly convinced him live on air that he would be looking at serious
jail time if he didn’t comply with the subpoena, and finally CNN again
where host Erin Burnett asked point-blank if Nunberg was drunk.

Former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg lashed out at President

July 29: Former Trump aide Sam Nunberg just
did a 180 on his stance on Trump's knowledge of the June 2016 Trump Tower
meeting
Trump and his lawyers maintain that he did not know about the meeting before it
was first reported on last summer.
In March, Nunberg scoffed at such a denial and
suggested Trump knew about the meeting "a week before" it took place.
During
an interview on NBC News' "Meet The Press," Nunberg said Sunday that he
believed Trump over Cohen, though he never discussed the claims with Cohen.
"If Michael Cohen says now he knew about the Russia meeting in advance, I would
believe Don Jr. and the president in light of learning Michael was taping
conversations," Nunberg told the show's host, Chuck Todd.
