June 1: After much anticipation, President
Trump has decided to postpone his campaign promise to move the U.S. Embassy in
Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. He signed a waiver Thursday to keep the
embassy in Tel Aviv for the time being.

June 1: President Donald
Trump announced his decision to withdraw the US from the Paris climate accord
Thursday, a major step that fulfills his campaign promises while seriously
dampening global efforts to curb global warming. The decision amounts to a
rebuttal of the worldwide effort to pressure Trump to remain a part of the
agreement, which 195 nations signed onto. Foreign leaders, business executives
and Trump's own daughter lobbied heavily for him to remain a part of the deal,
but ultimately lost out to conservatives who claim the plan is bad for the
United States.

April 11:
President Donald Trump's morning declaration that
"nice and new and 'smart'" missiles would soon be fired toward Syria caught
most of his aides off guard and came before an agreement had been reached
between key US allies, multiple American and Western officials said on
Wednesday.
That Trump would surprise staffers and allies with a morning tweet is not new;
he regularly sets his own tone for the day on Twitter based on cable television
and his own mood. But Wednesday's messages were unique in their telegraphing of
upcoming US military action,
something Trump vowed he would not do as president.

July 5: President Trump made waves at his
Montana rally Thursday night while challenging Senator Elizabeth Warren's claims
of a Native American heritage.
"I shouldn't tell you because I like to not give away secrets," Trump said. "But
let's say I'm debating Pocahontas. I promise you I'll do this: I will take, you
know those little kits they sell on television... learn your heritage!"
"A guy says he was born in Scotland, turns out h was born in Puerto Rico, that's
okay, that's good, you know. A guy ways he was born in Germany, he was born
someplace else."
"And in the middle of the debate, when she proclaims that she is of Indian
heritage because her mother said she has high cheek bones, that is her only
evidence, her mother said we have high cheek bones," Trump continued.
"We will take that little kit -- but we have to do it gently. Because we're in
the #MeToo generation, we have to do it gently," the president trolled. "And we
will very genlty take that kit, and slowly toss it, hoping it doesn't injure her
arm, and we will say: I will give you a million dollars to your favorite
charity, paid for by Trump, if you take the test and it shows you're an Indian."
