January 14: The Palestinian president railed

January 21: Secretary-General of the
Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and chief
negotiator, Saeb Erekat, has revealed details of the US peace plan to resolve
the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.
The report included 13 items which outline US President Donald Trump’s plan.
According to the report, the first item recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of
Israel and provides for transferring the US embassy to it. According to the
report, this means “the end of the issue of Jerusalem”, because no Israeli
government will negotiate over Jerusalem after the US administration recognizes
it as its capital.

Hussein Agha, for a long and open conversation about a variety of topics.
During the conversation, according to the report, Kerry asked Agha to convey a
message to Abbas and ask him to “hold on and be strong.” Tell him, he told Agha,
“that he should stay strong in his spirit and play for time, that he will not
break and will not yield to President [Donald] Trump’s demands.”

to the West Bank, the first by an Indian premier.
February 20: "The United States knows the
Palestinian leadership was very unhappy with the decision to move our embassy to
Jerusalem," [Ambassador Nikki] Haley said.
"You don't have to like that decision. You don't have to praise it. You don't
even have to accept it. But know this: that decision will not change," she
added.
August 16: The Trump administration is
considering taking back more than $3 billion in foreign aid that Congress
already approved, in a move that senators from both parties are calling
questionably legal and promising to resist.
The Office of Management and Budget instructed the State Department and the U.S.
Agency for International Development earlier this month to provide a balance
sheet of foreign aid projects that have not yet been funded. Unless Congress
intervenes, the money may be returned to the U.S. Treasury at the end of fiscal

told NPR the administration is pulling $25 million it had planned to give to the
East Jerusalem Hospital Network, a group of six hospitals, some church-run,
providing care primarily to Palestinians.
In past years, U.S. funding covered medical costs for Palestinians to go to
these hospitals for treatment unavailable in the West Bank and Gaza — from
cardiac and eye surgeries to neonatal intensive care and children's dialysis,
according to the World Health Organization.

"We don't give money to the Palestinians any more, and we won't until there is
change," he said.

Jews to what President Donald Trump is doing vis-à-vis Israel.
Friedman has found such reactions “frustrating, disappointing and hurtful,” but
at the same time is unwilling to give up on American Jews. “Some are misguided
but they mean well,” he said on Monday at the annual fall luncheon of the
Na’avah Tehilla Emunah chapter in Jerusalem.
