November 1: The real Donald Trump: a bully, fraud and incompetent who has wrecked countless lives

The GOP candidate’s campaign is based on a massive lie: that he is great businessman. In truth his career is a litany of narcissism, failure and deceit that has left thousands of innocent victims in its wake

November 3: What Is Donald Trump's Beef With NBC Reporter Katy Tur? Here's the Backstory

Speaking at a rally of 4,000 or so supporters in Miami Wednesday, Donald Trump singled out NBC reporter Katy Tur—the third time he has attacked her in front of a crowd.

Tur appeared on MSNBC Wednesday evening to talk about the incident, saying: “It is a unique experience to have an entire crowd of people… booing you. And it’s especially unique when they’re actually saying your name and looking directly at you—and that’s what happened today.”

December 8: If Donald Trump keeps being a bully on Twitter, someone’s going to get hurt.

Last night, Chuck Jones, president of United Steelworkers 1999, was quoted in a CNN segment saying that the president-elect had “lied his ass off” about the deal to save jobs at the Carrier plant in Indiana. According to Jones, only 730 union jobs were being saved (Trump had given the figure of 1,100, but that included non-union jobs that were not going to be out-sourced).

Trump responded with two petulant tweets attacking Jones and the union

June 6: The Kids Are Alt-Right ... Kids Are Quoting Trump To Bully Their Classmates And Teachers Don’t Know What To Do About It

BuzzFeed News reviewed more than 50 reports of school bullying since the election and found that kids nationwide are using Trump’s words to taunt their classmates. If the president can say those things, why can’t they?

June 29: Bully-in-Chief

The president's schoolboy tweets about 'Morning Joe' co-host Mika Brzezinski should not surprise anyone.

The kind of insult a person lobs tells you a lot about his or her character ...

... to recap, the high-profile journalist is "low I.Q.," "crazy," had a less-than-quality face-lift, according to the president and also wanted to hang out with him – but he wasn't interested. It's the junior high school hallway call-out deluxe package: The girl is stupid, crazy, unattractive and has an unreciprocated interest in him.

June 29: How Republicans Are Empowering Trump To Bully Women

From the election campaign to the White House, the GOP's tactic in dealing with Trump's crass behavior toward women is one of forgetfulness, and in doing so, they empower President Trump to demean women without consequences.

September 20: On Wednesday, the first lady spoke passionately about how "morally responsible adults" should lead by example so children can learn to be empathetic and kind. The seven-minute address, delivered at a United Nations luncheon, contained all the watchwords bullying prevention advocates want to hear from famous public figures.

What the speech didn't acknowledge was the president's own behavior. Trump spoke as if her husband didn't recently retweet a doctored GIF of his golf swing slamming a ball into Hillary Clinton's back, knocking her over. She pretended as though he hadn't nicknamed the North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un "rocket man" as an insult the day before. And never mind the president's "both sides" approach to protests of white supremacy and nationalism in Charlottesville last month — that couldn't seem to pierce Trump's alternate reality, either.

In her first public outing tied to the issue, she made a surprise trip Monday to a middle school in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, a Detroit suburb, where she talked with kids about being inclusive with one another and true to themselves. December 13: Sen. Gillibrand: Trump is a 'bully' trying to 'silence' women

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand on Wednesday accused President Donald Trump of trying to "bully" and "silence" women after he sparked backlash with a suggestive tweet about the New York Democrat.

In an interview with NBC's "TODAY," she again called the president's tweet a "sexist smear" said she interpreted it as sexually suggestive.

"Well, certainly that's how I and many people read it, and it was certainly a sexist smear intended to silence me. ... I'm not going to be silenced on this issue," Gillibrand said.

March 17: Donald Trump Is a Simple-Minded Bully Who Only Knows One Tactic

Two separate but related stories in a single day demonstrate not only the bottomless viciousness of Donald Trump, but also his lack of creativity and guile.

First, the firing of Andrew McCabe just two days before he was to vest in his pension. McCabe angered the president by speaking to Special Counsel Robert Mueller. It was well known that McCabe was waiting until Sunday to retire, but Trump demanded that Attorney General Sessions fire him just hours in advance out of simple, petty vindictiveness.

March 23: China can’t be seen to be weak on trade against a ‘bully’ like U.S. President Donald Trump because appeasement will lead to more and more demands, said Nobel prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz.

"Particularly when you have a bully like Trump, it would not be good to respond in a weak way," said Stiglitz in an interview with Bloomberg Television in Beijing. "We know about appeasement from Munich. It’s a different kind of a war but in a trade war appeasement could lead to more and more demands."

May 26: The President of the United States is erratic, illiterate, and doesn’t want to know what he doesn’t know. The President has alienated former allies, befriended or courted murderous dictators, and has repeatedly brought the country to the brink of nuclear confrontation. The President lies constantly, knows that he is lying, and demands that Administration officials lie for him, and often they do. The President has waged war on the institutions of government, overseeing the gutting of the State Department and the destruction of other federal agencies by their own leaders, and effectively shut off media access to the Pentagon, the State Department, and the White House. The President has acted to thwart oversight of the Administration by other branches of government. The President has never made a secret of despising the government itself: he has called it a “swamp” and gleefully shut it down for thirty-five days, during a temper tantrum. The President has not only failed to divest himself of his businesses but has installed his children in and near the White House, openly using his office for personal financial gain. The President has debased political culture and language, using his bully pulpit to spew lies, hate, and personal insults
