Maverick, smart, charismatic,
elegant- are just a few of the attributes that embody television host and
multi-talented actress Kari Wells. Born and raised in Britain, this
well-mannered TV darling has amassed extensive experience both in the US and
across the pond.
With several movies and television shows under her belt, Kari's training in
improv, drama, voice over training and film acting have served her well. Kari
has confidently taken on roles and comedic characters like an Albanian psychic
in the Ghostbuster web series, a NY mob wife in the short film "The Grand Prince
of Moscow." and more serious role as a doctor in the short "Road to Lyrics."
There isn't a platform she can't step onto with poise and power. After joining
the BRAVO hit television show Married to Medicine; her first reality show--it
was evident this wasn't her first venture into TV. BRAVO host Andy Cohen dubbed
her "The Queen of Class" for her immaculate composure no matter the
circumstance.

October 23: To Wells, a British-born former model who starred in Bravo’s Married to
Medicine, the Weinstein accusations felt incredibly familiar.
When Wells was trying to break into the entertainment industry, she always
feared the “casting couch” – the idea that actresses needed to sleep with
producers and directors in order to land roles.
“To get a fabulous role in Hollywood and to have to suffer something at such
a young age, the thought of it was terrifying,” she told the Guardian.
For years, Wells, said, women assumed, with good reason, that speaking out
against powerful men was hopeless. It would just put a target on their back and
do nothing to harm the man.
But after the series of accusations against media personalities Bill Cosby,
Roger Ailes, Bill O’Reilly and now
Harvey Weinstein, women are finally feeling that speaking out is no longer
hopeless.
“With each of these stories we get to a new level,” she added. “And it’s going
to bring down so many people it’s just the beginning and I love it.”
“Now,” Wells added. “There’s fire.”
