Just a few of the things Trump has said:

June 16: trump On his wealth: “I don’t need anybody’s money. It’s nice. I don’t need anybody’s money. I’m using my own money. I’m not using the lobbyists. I’m not using donors. I don’t care. I’m really rich, I’ll show you that in a second. And by the way, I’m not even saying that in a braggadocios … that’s the kind that’s the kind of thinking you need for this country.”

January 23: Donald Trump's words are catching up to his presidency

http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/23/politics/donald-trump-shoot-somebody-support/
January 23: Donald Trump makes a comment about his current momentum at a campaign stop in Sioux City, Iowa on Saturday.

"You know what else they say about my people? The polls, they say I have the most loyal people. Did you ever see that? Where I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters, okay? It’s like incredible," Trump said

Trump’s bombast lands with a thud away from U.S. shores

Trump has never been a particularly popular presidential candidate outside U.S. borders, as a Pew Research Center poll from spring 2016 showed.

[Due to his unfavorable comments about foreign governments] not much has changed, judging by Friday's international commentary on Trump's speech at the GOP convention.

October 29:
Trump boasts about his philanthropy. But his giving falls short of his words.

On Twitter: Yes, I will walk butt naked around the White House, I am the President.
January 10
@reaIDonaldTrunp

January 15: President-elect Donald Trump said in a weekend interview that he is nearing completion of a plan to replace President Obama’s signature health-care law with the goal of “insurance for everybody,” while also vowing to force drug companies to negotiate directly with the government on prices in Medicare and Medicaid.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/trump-vows-insurance-for-everybody-in-obamacare-replacement-plan/2017/01/15/5f2b1e18-db5d-11e6-ad42-f3375f271c9c_story.html?utm_term=.3152fecbc3ec

January 26:
Pray Trump is a pathological liar.  Convinced of secret media and liberal plots to undermine him, wanting to fight anyone and everyone and everything who he thinks disrespects him and having embraced “alternative facts,” Trump has shown us — in just a few days — that he’s either in the grip of delusions or is a liar or both.

According to media reports Trump’s advisers say that “his frenzied if admittedly impulsive approach appeals to voters because it shows that he is a man of action.”

Those complaining about his fixation with fictional voter fraud or crowd counts at his inauguration, in their view, are simply seeking ways to undercut his legitimacy.

Yet some of his own advisers also privately worry about his penchant for picking unnecessary fights and drifting off message. They talk about taking away his telephone or canceling his Twitter account, only to be dismissed by a president intent on keeping his own outlets to the world.

March 23: Trump defends wild claims: 'I'm president, and you're not'

May 16: On Capitol Hill, reaction [to Trump's leaking secret information to the Russians] split along party lines, but even many Republicans indicated that they wanted the White House to show more discipline.

May 18:
The ceremony [for Coast Guard graduates] represented the culmination of four hard years of study, work and training. It should have been all about those cadets and their incredible accomplishment. Instead, the President chose to intrude on it to assuage his ego. He took what should have been a big day and made it small.

May 21: As a presidential candidate, Donald Trump railed against President Barack Obama for failing to utter the words “radical Islamic terrorism.” He accused the foundation run by Bill and Hillary Clinton of corruption for accepting charitable contributions from Saudi Arabia and chastised first lady Michelle Obama for not covering her head during a visit to the Kingdom.

Now that he’s president, Trump has changed his tune ... Trump’s speech to Gulf Arab leaders featured a much softer tone than his large-scale rallies last year.

July 1: [This is] the end of a week in which Trump has battered the media with insults, including an early morning tweet storm Thursday in which he attacked the intellect and appearance of MSNBC's "Morning Joe" co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski. Those tweets drew wide condemnation from across the political spectrum in Washington and beyond.

July 26: After Trump gave remarks at the White House to the American Legion Boys and Girls Nation, a reporter yelled out to him, "Mr. President, how did you decide your policy on transgender people in the military?"

After a few moments of silence, Trump said, "She's very rude."

July 26: George Washington could not tell a lie, but President Trump is not going to let that stop him from surpassing the leader of the list of the nation’s most “presidential” Presidents.

“With the exception of the late, great Abraham Lincoln, I can be more presidential than any President that's ever held this office,” he told a crowd in Youngstown, Ohio.

July 28: In his remarks to officers Friday on Long Island, Trump [endorsed] rougher treatment of suspects by police officers.

"When you see these thugs being thrown into the back of a paddywagon, you just see them thrown in, rough, I said, ‘Please don't be too nice," Trump said Friday.

“Like when you guys put somebody in the car and you’re protecting their head, you know, the way you put their hand over?” the president continued. “Like, don’t hit their head and they’ve just killed somebody. Don’t hit their head? I said, ‘You can take the hand away, OK?’”

July 28:

Police unimpressed after Trump speech encourages rougher treatment of suspects ... Trump's comments were made during a dark, foreboding speech that continued his efforts to portray himself as a champion of law enforcement

Trump’s remarks also drew a rebuke from the International Association of Chiefs of Police. In a statement, the group did not specifically mention Trump by name but appeared to respond to his speech by stressing the importance of treating all people, including suspects, with respect.

August 2: In President Donald Trump's telling, officials from Mexico City to Boy Scouts headquarters are lighting up his phone line with praise ...  In the leaders' telling, though, the calls never happened -- and the White House has belatedly agreed.

September 24: [Preet] Bharara ...
"I think that the people who go around saying that the President is not smart are wrong," Bharara told CNN. "This idea that people want to infantilize him gives him not enough credit. To say that someone is just spouting off in a tantrum is to suggest that he's not intentional about the harm he's doing and about the people he's attacking. I think he's very intentional about it."

October 10:
Donald Trump has challenged his secretary of state to “compare IQ tests”, if Rex Tillerson did call the president a “moron” as reported.

Trump told Forbes magazine: “I think it’s fake news. But if he did [say] that, I guess we’ll have to compare IQ tests. And I can tell you who is going to win.”

November 2: President Trump says: "I'm the only one that matters" in setting U.S. foreign policy, thus downplaying the importance of high-level jobs such as the assistant secretary of state, which is currently vacant.

"Let me tell you, the one that matters is me," Trump said in an interview that aired on Fox News on Thursday night. "I'm the only one that matters, because when it comes to it, that's what the policy is going to be. You've seen that, you've seen it strongly."

The president was responding to a question from Fox's Laura Ingraham, who asked him, "Are you worried that the State Department doesn't have enough Donald Trump nominees in there to push your vision through?"

November 11: President Donald Trump unleashed a series of tweets Sunday morning as he nears the end of his epic 13-day diplomatic tour of Asia, going after "haters and fools" who question his ties to Russia and mocking the shape of North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.

November 14: After meeting with [Philippine President Rodrigo] Duterte, Trump said the relationship between the Philippines and the U.S. was now “probably better than ever before.” Under Obama, the relationship between the U.S. and the Philippines was “horrible,” Trump told the gathered press. He added, “You know what happened. Many of you were there, and you never got to land. The plane came close but it didn’t land.”

But, contrary to Trump’s account, Obama never had a flight to the Philippines diverted ...  Obama never visited the Southeast Asian country while Duterte was in charge (though Obama did visit the Philippines twice before Duterte was president).

Trump’s odd comment came during a press gaggle in Manila on the tail end of the president’s trip to Asia.

On Twitter: The Al Frankenstien picture is really bad, speaks a thousand words. Where do his hands go in pictures 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 while she sleeps? .....
November 16
@realDonaldTrump

November 17: In a normal Republican administration, an allegation that Senator Al Franken, a Democrat, had groped a woman as she slept, accompanied by a damning photo, would be a political gift to the White House. When its occupant is Donald Trump, however, the story is altogether different—late in his presidential campaign, Trump was faced with accusations of sexual misconduct and assault from more than 16 women, which many believed would spell his political doom.

Trump, of course, is the kind of person who can brag on tape about grabbing women “by the pussy” and still win a presidential election ...

November 22: Lawyers for Michael Flynn have informed President Trump's legal team that they can no longer share information about special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into Russian election interference, a possible sign that Trump's former national security adviser is cooperating with federal investigators ... [this could signal a move by Flynn to cooperate with the Russia investigation or negotiate a deal for himself ... the action  is said to be routine and would not affect the president.]

November 24: "Time Magazine called to say that I was PROBABLY going to be named "Man (Person) of the Year" like last year, but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot," Trump tweeted from his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, where is spending his Thanksgiving holiday.

"The President is incorrect about how we choose Person of the Year. TIME does not comment on our choice until publication, which is December 6," a spokeswoman told CNN.

Time Inc.'s chief content officer, Alan Murray, later said the President's tweet didn't have "a speck of truth."

September 20: White House aides who steeled themselves for what President Donald Trump would say when he finally addressed the sexual assault allegation against his Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh were quietly stunned when Trump said the process should be followed and the accuser should be heard.

In recent days, Trump has bragged about the positive coverage he's received for his response, according to multiple sources. That response has contributed to him continuing to say Christine Blasey Ford should come forward with her story, they said.

September 25: UN audience literally bursts out laughing at Trump’s speech

They didn’t take the president’s bragging very seriously.

One of President Trump’s favorite attacks on his political opponents is to say that the world is “laughing” at the United States. But on Tuesday, during Trump’s speech to the United Nations General Assembly, the assembled world notables literally laughed at him.

The audience erupted in laughter early, when Trump bragged about his accomplishments as president. “In two years, we have accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country,” he said.
https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2018/9/25/17900980/un-trump-laughed-at

September 25: The gathered world leaders -- or at least some of them -- were laughing at Trump's contention that he had done more in two years than any previous American administration ever.

Which makes some sense given that the claim seems, on its face ridiculous. There was Abraham Lincoln's management of the Civil War, Ulysses Grant's stewardship of the country through Reconstruction, Woodrow Wilson's work to repair the world community following World War I, [FDR's work before and during WWII], Truman's work to do the same post-World War II, Ronald Reagan's steering of the country though the Cold War ... I mean, the list goes on and on.

And it dwarfs Trump's accomplishments ...

October 2: Trump mocks Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford at campaign rally

After saying last week that her Senate testimony was "very credible," the president on Tuesday night repeatedly ridiculed the woman who says she was attacked.
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/trump-mocks-christine-blasey-ford-mississippi-campaign-rally-n916061

October 2: The audience laughed as Trump ran through a list of what he described as holes in Christine Blasey Ford's testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee. She testified that Kavanaugh pinned her on a bed, tried to take off her clothes and covered her mouth in the early 1980s, when the two were teenagers. Kavanaugh has denied Ford's allegations.

"How did you get home? 'I don't remember,'" Trump said at the rally in Southaven. "How did you get there? 'I don't remember.' Where is the place? 'I don't remember.' How many years ago was it? 'I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.'"

Imitating Ford, he added, "But I had one beer — that's the only thing I remember."

May 26: The President of the United States is erratic, illiterate, and doesn’t want to know what he doesn’t know. The President has alienated former allies, befriended or courted murderous dictators, and has repeatedly brought the country to the brink of nuclear confrontation. The President lies constantly, knows that he is lying, and demands that Administration officials lie for him, and often they do. The President has waged war on the institutions of government, overseeing the gutting of the State Department and the destruction of other federal agencies by their own leaders, and effectively shut off media access to the Pentagon, the State Department, and the White House. The President has acted to thwart oversight of the Administration by other branches of government. The President has never made a secret of despising the government itself: he has called it a “swamp” and gleefully shut it down for thirty-five days, during a temper tantrum. The President has not only failed to divest himself of his businesses but has installed his children in and near the White House, openly using his office for personal financial gain. The President has debased political culture and language, using his bully pulpit to spew lies, hate, and personal insults
