Andrew Bruce Wigmore is a
political activist, former diplomat, athlete, and businessman.[1][2]
Known for his representation of
Belize at the
2014 Commonwealth Games and his work on the
Leave.EU
campaign during the
UK's 2016 referendum on membership of the European Union, he is a prominent
associate of
Arron
Banks and
Nigel
Farage.[3][4]
Following Wigmore's highly publicised meeting with then
President-elect of the United States
Donald
Trump complaints arose regarding Wigmore forgoing his "duty not to interfere
in the internal affairs [of another country]” as an accredited diplomat.

April 17: 'Brexit Bad Boy' Andy Wigmore and
why praising the Nazis is never a good idea
A key architect of Vote Leave, the former trade emissary to Belize and
competitive clay pigeon shooter is in hot water over his reference to the Third
Reich’s propaganda machine
His name isn't ringing any bells. That’s because Wiggy likes to operate
in the shadows. “He loves being one of the gang but he is happy to let Nigel and
Arron take most of the limelight,”
one acquaintance is reported to have said. “He sees himself as the guy
behind the scenes pulling the strings.”
Wasn’t there a photograph of the Bad Boys
alongside Donald Trump outside his golden elevator in Trump Tower?
There was indeed, with Wigmore putting a friendly arm round [Nigel] Farage’s
shoulder.
“The propaganda machine of the Nazis – if you take away all the hideous horror
and that kind of stuff – it was very clever, the way they managed to do what
they did,” he
reportedly told Essex University researcher Dr Emma Briant. “In its pure
marketing sense, you can see the logic of what they were saying.”

June 12:
Arron Banks has told MPs probing "fake news" his Brexit campaign had sometimes
"led people up the garden path".
But he said politicians were also guilty of spin and claimed Parliament was the
"biggest source of fake news".
The tycoon, who spent more than £6m on Leave.EU, said he had faced "absurd"
claims of Russian conspiracies.
Media committee chairman Damian Collins said it was "difficult to know" whether
to take his evidence - and that of colleague Andy Wigmore - seriously.
According to details of emails reported by the Sunday Times and the Observer, Mr
Banks and Mr Wigmore also discussed potential business opportunities in Russia
including a proposal involving six gold mines.
Mr Banks attempted to laugh off suggestions of a conspiracy over his meetings
with Mr Yakovenko, telling MPs: "I was hoping for a good lunch and that is what
I did gain from it."
"The only thing we gave in the second meeting was the telephone number of the
(Trump) transition team because the Russians wanted to get hold of the
transition team."

June 16: Leading
Brexit Campaigner Apparently Passed Documents on U.S. Probe into George Cottrell
to the Russians
A top Brexit campaigner, who met repeatedly with Russian officials, appeared to
share details of the indictment of George Cottrell, a dark web operator working
for the campaign.
One of the
Brexit campaign chiefs appeared to pass documents detailing an American law
enforcement investigation to a Russian official,
according to a cache of leaked emails.
The papers, which detailed a probe into dark web money laundering, were
apparently shared with the Russian embassy in London by Leave.EU executive Andy
Wigmore. They concerned the arrest of Brexit financier George Cottrell, who was
seized at an airport on the way home from the Republican convention in 2016
where Donald Trump had just been nominated as the presidential candidate.
Cottrell had been at the convention in Cleveland with his boss
Nigel Farage, who dined with
Roger Stone and met a string of other Republican operatives and elected
officials.
